Ben Murphy

Ben Murphy has extensive work experience in various roles related to investment and strategy. Ben is currently working as an Investment Director at Kiko Ventures since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Investment Director, Cleantech at IP Group plc since October 2014. Ben has also served as a Non-Executive Director at C-Capture Ltd., Leeds, Mixergy Ltd, and NGENICS GLOBAL LIMITED. In addition, Ben has experience as a Strategy Manager at The Carbon Trust, where they played a leading role in delivering low carbon technology innovation analysis for the UK government. Ben started their career as a Researcher at the European Commission and also worked as an Intern at Google.

Ben Murphy completed an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London from 2007 to 2008. In 2015, they took a short course on Financing the entrepreneurial business at London Business School. In 2010, they also completed a short course in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they studied Physics & Mathematics at Durham University. In 2016, they enrolled in a short course on Negotiation at London Business School.
