The Indian Plastics Institute (IPI) DTU Student Chapter is the official student body of Delhi Technological University, affiliated with the Indian Plastics Institute, a premier organization advancing global standards of education, research, and innovation in plastics, polymers, and advanced materials.

We serve as a bridge between academia and industry, empowering students to explore the science, engineering, and sustainability of modern polymers. Our focus lies in creating an ecosystem where materials innovation meets responsible application, preparing future engineers and scientists to lead in fields such as advanced composites, polymer processing, and circular economy technologies.

Through industry visits, international expos, and technical workshops, members gain direct exposure to cutting-edge developments including additive manufacturing, high-performance polymers, and recycling innovations. Regular seminars, expert lectures, and research discussions foster critical understanding of polymer chemistry, process engineering, and sustainable material design.

Beyond technical depth, we promote scientific awareness and societal engagement, translating complex concepts on plastics, recycling, and environmental impact into accessible knowledge for diverse audiences.
