Steve O'Connor

Steve O'Connor is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in the Agritech sector and a strong background in aerospace and manufacturing. As the Founder and CEO of Better Urban Farms, Steve drives innovation in urban farming through sustainable practices and deep tech solutions. Co-founding pia Ventures, an Angel Investment and Advisory firm, Steve supports early-stage companies in transforming innovative ideas into commercial success. Additional roles include Entrepreneur in Residence at A*StartCentral and Mentor for the Biodiversity Accelerator+ at Silverstrand Capital. Steve's past experience includes serving as Vice President at Pall Corporation and GKN Aerospace, where leadership in global aftermarket strategies and project management yielded significant contributions to product development and revenue growth. Steve holds a BEng (hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
