Leonardo Borba

Leonardo Borba has a strong background in data governance and management. Leonardo started their career at Globo, where they served as a Specialist in IT and led teams in BI, Data Engineering, and Data Governance for the IT Service Management division. Leonardo played a crucial role in driving data-driven initiatives and project development. Leonardo then joined Kenlo as a Data Governance Tech Lead, where they developed and implemented a Data Catalog that provided visibility and traceability of data assets. Leonardo also defined policies and processes for data modeling, architecture, taxonomy, and metadata, ensuring compliance with business rules and legislation. Leonardo's most recent role was at Grupo Carrefour Brasil, where they served as a Data Governance Advisor. Currently, they are the Head of Data at IPNET Growth Partner.

Leonardo Borba completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Estácio from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from 2014 to 2022 at Universidade Federal Fluminense. In addition to their formal education, Leonardo obtained various certifications, including leadership training from HarvardX and Escola Conquer, workshops on communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and emotional intelligence, as well as professional certifications in ServiceNow and Scrum Alliance. Leonardo also participated in the Empretec program offered by Sebrae in 2016.
