Poonam Jain

Poonam Jain has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering industry. They started their career as a Software Engineer at Aricent technologies in 2009, where they worked on PHP, MySQL, Python, and Perl. Their responsibilities included solving problem requests, feature development, and test scenario analysis. They also managed PHP and Unix shell scripts using cron and packaging scripts of CMI on a Unix server.

In 2011, Poonam joined Infoedge India Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, they continued to work with PHP, MySQL, Python, and Perl. They focused on feature enhancement, problem fixing, and creating and analyzing database queries. They also handled the UI and functional revamp of naukri job search modules. Additionally, they had working knowledge of Perl scripting.

Poonam then moved on to Adobe in 2012, where they initially worked as a Senior Software Engineer on the Adobe Acrobat project. They used Python, VB Scripting, and PHP with MySQL for automating Acrobat Licensing features. They also conducted manual testing of Adobe Acrobat Licensing and subscription workflows. They were involved in feature test case creation, planning, and execution.

In 2014, Poonam was promoted to Lead Software Engineer at Adobe. They continued their work with Adobe ColdFusion, using CFML, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, and MSSQL. Their responsibilities included automating Adobe CF features using Java APIs and CFML, as well as manual testing of Adobe ColdFusion Server installations and features on various platforms.

Most recently, in 2019, Poonam joined iPoint-systems gmbh as a Senior Automation Engineer. They focused on designing and implementing automated software testing using Ranorex Studio. They worked on automating functional software tests using technologies such as Java Swing, SAP GUI, Angular, and Vadin. They also created reusable components for software test automation, implemented data-driven control using MS Excel, and created test suites for end-to-end testing across multiple system boundaries.

Poonam Jain completed their education at various institutions. From 2006 to 2009, they attended BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell, where they obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, they studied at Indra Prastha College for Women, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Poonam's earliest education took place at Goodley Public School, where they studied from 1996 to 2003. The degree obtained from this institution is unknown.
