Marco Marini

Marco Marini has over 20 years of work experience in marketing and operations. Marco began their career in 1997 as Direct Marketing Manager at Edify, where they were responsible for lead generation and customer retention objectives through a combination of direct mail, email, and seminars. In 1999, they became Director of Demand Generation at GoIndustry DoveBid, managing a $12M online marketing program. Marco then moved to Salex Consulting as a Consultant, providing end-to-end marketing consulting services for direct/email/online marketing, database marketing, and SFA/CRM/data mart implementation. In 2001, they became Director of Demand Generation at eHealthInsurance, creating automated email campaign series for prospects, customer retention, and cross-sell. In 2003, they joined CyberSource as Director of Demand Generation, responsible for online lead generation efforts. From 2009 to 2021, they were a Marketing Advisor at SVIEC. In 2019, they became COO at iPost, and in 2020 they became Strategic Partner and Director of Email Marketing at Solid Branding. Most recently, in 2021, they joined the SVIEC Foundation as a Board Member.

Marco Marini attended Sapienza Università di Roma from 1986 to 1988, studying Engineering. Marco then attended University of Waterloo from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering. Finally, they attended York University from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science.
