Joyce Mumah

Joyce Mumah, PhD, is a senior global development leader with over 14 years of experience in managing large-scale programs across Africa and the Global South, focusing on health, youth development, education, and economic empowerment. They currently serve as a Senior Technical Lead on research initiatives at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, following a prior role as an Associate Research Scientist at the African Population and Health Research Center. Joyce has a strong background in managing evidence-based programs, multi-country evaluations, and strategic policy development, with a commitment to improving outcomes for women, youth, and marginalized populations through cross-sector partnerships. They hold an MA in Public Affairs/Applied Sociology from New Mexico Highlands University and a BSc in Sociology & Anthropology with a minor in Political Science from the University of Buea.
