Monica Ribeiro

Monica Ribeiro is a seasoned humanitarian worker and protection specialist with extensive experience in risk advisory roles. They have held various positions at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), including Deputy Protection Coordinator and Detention Team Leader, and have served as a Senior Advisor in Africa for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. Monica has also contributed as a Consultant for Mercy Corps and worked with the British Red Cross as the International Family Tracing Coordinator. Currently, they are the Global Safety & Security Manager at the International Planned Parenthood Federation and a Senior Risk Advisor at International Location Safety. Monica earned an MA in Post-war Recovery from the University of York.
