Laura Chappell

Laura Chappell serves as the Associate Director of the Centre for Geopolitics and International Policy at the Institute for Public Policy Research. With over 20 years of experience in international public policy, they have worked across three continents and have led significant initiatives, including the $1 billion LEAF Coalition. Previously, they held leadership roles in various government departments, including the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Laura graduated with distinction from SOAS University of London in Development Economics and has furthered their education at the University of Oxford.
