Lucy Mort is a Principal Research Fellow and Head of Qualitative Research at IPPR, where since January 2019, responsibilities have included leading research projects focused on migration, integration, and community wellbeing, designing large-scale qualitative studies, and developing inclusive policymaking initiatives. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow, where Lucy led significant research projects on neighbourhood change and authored reports for local authorities. Prior experience includes working as an Integration Caseworker at Calico Homes, a Group Facilitator at Safety4Sisters, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford. Lucy has also contributed to academia as an Associate Lecturer at The Manchester Metropolitan University. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a BA in Social Work from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
