Brian Abernethy

Brian Abernethy is an experienced health and safety professional with a robust background spanning various roles in the construction and engineering sectors. Brian began a career in safety with the Irish Defence Forces and transitioned to roles such as Safety Officer at Imtech Suir and Environmental, Health and Safety Auditor at Duggan Brothers (Contractors) Ltd. Brian has held significant positions including EHS Officer and HSE Lead at PM Group, with responsibilities for major projects such as the MSD Brinny site and the BMS project in Mulhuddart. Currently serving as EHS Lead at IPS-Integrated Project Services, Brian has a strong educational foundation, holding a Higher Diploma in Safety Health & Welfare at Work from University College Cork and an MSc in Environmental Health & Safety Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.
