Scott Lidgett is an experienced technology executive and entrepreneur with a strong background in the IT and telecommunications sectors. Lidgett co-founded Firstwave Cloud Technology in 2002, serving as a board member and chairman until the company's successful ASX listing in 2016, and is currently a co-founder and director at IPSec Pty Ltd since July 2011, where Lidgett serves as Chairman and Managing Director. Prior experience includes leadership roles such as Chairman and Managing Director at Channelworx Pty Ltd, a leading distributor of networking and security products in Australia, which was later acquired by Avnet Inc, and Managing Director at Lidcam Technology from 1989 to 1999. Lidgett's career began as an Account Manager at Logical Solutions from 1986 to 1988. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering from Monash University and attendance at Melbourne Grammar School.
