Alison Cartwright

Alison Cartwright is an experienced analytical scientist with a strong background in laboratory research and development. Currently serving as the MS&T Lead Analytical Scientist at Ipsen since September 2021, Alison focuses on the development, optimization, and validation of plate-based immunoassays while authoring technical documentation. Prior to this, Alison worked at GSK as a Cell Biologist, where responsibilities included developing various assays, performing complex data analyses, and troubleshooting. Previous experience also includes roles as a Research Scientist at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, Research Scientist at Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic & District Hospital NHS Trust, and QC Technician positions at Porton Speywood and Evans Medical Plc. Alison holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Keele University and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Aberystwyth University.
