Anja Weber

Anja Weber is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Manager of Communications & Patient Engagement at Ipsen since March 2021. Weber's expertise spans various roles at Ipsen, including a secondment in Global Therapy Area Communications for Rare Diseases and acting as Head of Communications & External Affairs for the DACH region. Prior to Ipsen, Weber held managerial positions in communications at Technische Hochschule Deggendorf and MSD Sharp & Dohme GmbH, as well as project leadership in politics at Bayerischer Hausärzteverband e.V. Weber's career began with roles in public affairs and marketing, complemented by an academic background in Governance and Public Policy, holding both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Universität Passau, along with additional qualifications in PR and communications.
