Ellie Gilbert

Ellie Gilbert possesses extensive experience in security and investigations, previously holding key roles at the Bank of England from November 2019 to January 2022, including Investigations and Monitoring Manager and Head of Investigations, Monitoring & Insider Risk. Prior experience includes serving at the Metropolitan Police from December 2001 to September 2004 as a Case Clerk, where responsibilities included compiling evidential case files and designing the Witness Care Unit, as well as conducting background vetting as a Recruitment Officer. Currently, Ellie serves as the Director of Corporate Security - Global at Ipsen, having begun this role in January 2025. Academically, Ellie holds multiple degrees in Security Management and Counter Fraud and Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Portsmouth, with a Master of Science in Security Management achieved from 2020 to 2023.
