Ivan Diaz-Padilla, MD, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Global Head of the Oncology Therapeutic Area in R&D at Ipsen. Previously, they held roles at Merck Group and Novartis, where they led significant clinical programs in oncology, including the development of key cancer therapies such as CDK4/6 inhibitors and DNA-damage response inhibitors. They completed their Doctor of Medicine at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and earned a PhD in Medicine with distinction from Universidad de Sevilla. With a rich background in clinical research and drug development, Ivan is dedicated to advancing cancer treatments that improve patient outcomes.
