John Chaddock

John Chaddock serves as the VP Head of R&D Business Strategy and Site Head at Ipsen Bioinnovation, with extensive experience in operations within the Research, External Innovation & Early Development (REED) organization. Previously, John held various leadership roles in Ipsen, overseeing neuroscience therapeutic area operations and leading teams in discovery research prior to the integration following the acquisition of Syntaxin Ltd. Career beginnings included significant roles at Syntaxin Ltd, where John contributed to company strategy, operations, and research logistics. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Senior Scientist at the Health Protection Agency and as a Post-doctoral Scientist at the University of Warwick. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Protein Engineering from the University of Warwick, along with management diplomas from The Open University and a BSc in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry from Durham University.
