Katherine Rice

Katherine (Katie) Rice, RN BSN, currently serves as Head of Patient Education for Rare Diseases at Ipsen since April 2019, focusing on delivering disease and product information to patients and families affected by rare genetic diseases. Prior to this role, Rice held positions in patient education at Clementia Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Sanofi Genzyme, where responsibilities included establishing relationships with healthcare professionals and providing in-depth disease education. With a strong background in supporting rare disease management and experience as a Senior Account Manager and Nurse, Rice has demonstrated expertise in customer support, sales analysis, marketing materials development, and team training. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Bridgewater State University, respectively, as well as a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Salem State University.
