Katja Thoma

Katja Thoma currently serves as the Business Unit Head for Oncology at Ipsen, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Katja was with GSK from April 2019 to October 2023, where responsibilities included Head of Marketing & Sales for GynOncology and Commercial Launch Lead for Oncology. Experience with ViiV Healthcare from September 2012 to March 2019 included roles such as Policy, Community & Advocacy Director, Marketing Director for the International region, Marketing Manager for the International region, and Market Access Manager. Katja's career began at GSK as a Brand Manager in Immunologie and as a Commercial Trainee from November 2008 to August 2012. Education includes a Diplom-Kauffrau in Betriebswirtschaft from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2003-2008) and studies at emlyon business school (2007-2008).
