Laurent Bertocchi

Laurent Bertocchi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in drug product development, currently serving as Vice President and R&D Site Managing Director at Ipsen since November 2009. With a focus on coordinating the development of oral and parenteral drug products, Laurent has successfully led various roles within Ipsen, overseeing the entire process from lead optimization to product launch for small molecules and peptides. Laurent's prior experience includes senior management positions at GSK, Ethypharm, and GlaxoWellcome, highlighting a strong background in formulation and process development, particularly in inhalation and sustained release formulations. Laurent holds multiple executive management degrees from IMD and London Business School, as well as advanced degrees in formulation and biopharmacy from Paris-Sud University.
