Michaela Leo

Michaela Leo, CCP, CBP, GRP, currently serves as the Head of Compensation & Benefits for North America at Ipsen since October 2021. With over 17 years of experience in the rewards field, Michaela previously held multiple leadership roles at Merck, including Director of Compensation and Director of Compensation Programs & Analytics, where responsibilities included designing global compensation programs, managing market benchmarks, and applying Six Sigma methodology for process improvements. Michaela also has experience leading compensation and benefits for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as supporting Merck's Global Human Health Sales and Marketing. Prior to Merck, Michaela worked as a Sr. Compensation Analyst at Safeco Insurance Co. and National City Corporation. Michaela holds an MBA from Regis University, an MPhil in Educational Psychology from the University of Birmingham, and an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Mumbai.
