Mike Walker has extensive electrical and engineering experience spanning several decades, beginning with an apprenticeship at Kronospan from 1983 to 1992, where skills in Siemens S5 PLC and high voltage switching were developed. From 1992 to 2002, Mike worked at Ball Packaging Europe, focusing on fault finding, maintenance, design, programming, and project work involving Rockwell and Siemens PLCs. Subsequently, from September 2018 to February 2022, Mike served as Maintenance Manager at GREIF UK HOLDING LTD, where leadership of the engineering team was a key responsibility, as well as holding positions such as Senior Project Engineer and Senior Instrument Engineer, emphasizing the design of control panels and programming with S7 and TIA Portal PLCs. Currently, Mike Walker is employed as an Automation Engineer at Ipsen, starting in March 2023.
