Monia Vial

Monia Vial, Pharm D., currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Rare Disease Franchise for North America at Ipsen, where responsibilities include leading cross-functional launch teams and developing commercialization strategies for rare diseases, notably the launch of Palovarotene. With extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Monia previously held various leadership roles at Shire, directing global strategy for rare hematology brands and overseeing commercial assessments for ultra-rare diseases. Monia's career also includes significant contributions to oncology and rare disease marketing strategies at Bristol Myers Squibb, AstraZeneca, and as a consultant at Smart Pharma Consulting. Monia holds a Master in Marketing from HEC Paris and a Pharmacy degree from the University of Pharmacy in Paris.
