Richard Allan

Richard Allan serves as the Senior Director and Clinical Scientist at Ipsen since April 2023. Prior to this, Richard was the Senior Director of Clinical Science at ProQR Therapeutics from November 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included clinical leadership for the Phase 3 Orphan Disease ophthalmology drug, sepofarsen. Their experience also includes a role as Senior Director and Clinical Development Lead at Viatris from November 2020 to October 2021, overseeing clinical projects across various therapeutic areas. Richard's extensive background at Mylan spanned from December 2011 to November 2020, where significant contributions were made to respiratory and other therapeutic areas. Earlier in Richard's career, positions at Pfizer included Clinical Lead and Protocol Lead within the Allergy & Respiratory therapeutic area. Richard holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Reading and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham.
