Thomas Ranson

Thomas Ranson, PhD, serves as Vice President of Programs Management at Ipsen, where leadership of the asset operations team is a key responsibility. With a progressive career at Ipsen, previous roles include VP of Early Development Programs and VP of Early Development & External Innovation Strategy and Portfolio Operations, overseeing project management and operational strategies for early development initiatives. Prior experiences include senior director roles in external innovation strategy and radiopharmaceuticals R&D operations, and a director position in corporate strategy, contributing to a range of strategic projects and successful out-licensing efforts. Ranson also has experience in healthcare consulting and strategic project management from companies such as Bryan, Garnier & Co, and PHARNEXT, and holds a PhD in Immunology from Université Paris Cité, complemented by executive education in leadership and management from IMD and a Master’s degree in Marketing from HEC Paris.
