David Rao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consumer research and marketing insights. Currently serving as Managing Director at Ipsos since February 2011, David oversees a team of over 150 research professionals, managing P&L and driving over 300 integrated research projects annually. Previous roles include Associate Director to Executive Director at Ipsos, where leadership was provided to a team of 40+ research professionals, and client partnerships were established with global key accounts. Prior experience includes key positions at Nielsen, Palisade Corporation, British American Tobacco, and 3M. David holds an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Shanghai University.
