During a secondment at the UK Health Security Agency from 2020 to 2022, Tom drove innovation in the Test and Trace programme amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Analyst at the UK National Audit Office, assessing the value for money of healthcare spending. Tom holds a BSc in Economics from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.
