Ambar Kulkarni

Ambar Kulkarni has extensive work experience in software engineering, primarily in roles related to development and management. In 2000, Ambar worked as a Windows Platform Manager at Leica Geosystems GIS & Mapping, where they focused on configuration management, Windows installer development, and build and installer automation. From 2006 to 2019, Ambar held various positions at Ipswitch, Inc., including Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Progress since 2019. During their time at Ipswitch, Ambar served as a Director of Software Engineering, Development Manager, Software Development Lead, and Senior Software Developer. Their responsibilities included leading development teams, designing and developing new plugins and features, mentoring and guiding developers, and ensuring best practices for software development. Ambar has proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and databases like Microsoft SQL Server.

Ambar Kulkarni obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Technology from Nagpur University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1998 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Ambar Kulkarni also obtained certifications from Pragmatic Institute. They achieved the PMC Level I certification in December 2021 and followed it up with the PMC Level II certification in the same month and year.
