Anna Brannan

Anna Brannan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Anna started their career as an Attorney at Gagen, McCoy, McMahon, Koss, Markowitz & Raines, where they developed and implemented an Intellectual Property practice. Later, they worked as General Counsel at Garden City, Inc., providing legal guidance on employment, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

Brannan joined Symantec Corporation as a Corporate Counsel, where they advised and guided product development and sales agreements. Anna then took on the role of Senior Corporate Counsel, specializing in Trademarks, Copyrights, and Advertising Law. Brannan was responsible for managing global trademark and copyright programs, as well as drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.

In 2016, Brannan transitioned to IPSY as the Senior Corporate Counsel. Anna provided legal counsel on Intellectual Property, Privacy, Compliance, and Commercial matters. Anna also served as the Director and Assistant General Counsel, overseeing various legal aspects of the business, including data security, privacy, and consumer protection. Brannan then advanced to the role of Senior Director and Assistant General Counsel, where they focused on complex commercial transactions and expanding the international IP portfolio.

During their time at IPSY, Brannan was promoted to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, assuming increased responsibility and strategic guidance for the company.

Additionally, Brannan has served as a Mentor at Ceresa, supporting growth-minded leaders on a voluntary basis.

Anna Brannan has a J.D. degree in Law from Santa Clara University School of Law. Anna also holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
