Doak Sergent has extensive experience in brand partner strategy and marketing across various companies. Doak started their career at Conde Nast: House & Garden as a Luxury Marketing Director in 2004. Doak then joined Vogue in 2005 as a Fashion Marketing Director. In 2007, they became the Creative Services Director at COOKIE and later moved on to become the Executive Director of Creative Services at LUCKY. From 2010 to 2015, they served as the Associate Publisher, Head of Brand Development & Marketing for DETAILS Magazine, where they led integrated marketing, business development, partnerships, events, and research insights. Doak also built a men's influencer ad network and launched a branded content agency. In 2016, Sergent took on the role of Associate Publisher, Marketing & Head of Brand Development at W, where they led marketing strategy and business development for print, digital, and social channels. Doak managed a team of 13 and developed go-to-market strategies for clients like Air France, Audi, Coach, H&M, and Hugo Boss. In 2017 and 2018, they served as the Vice President of Strategy & Accounts at CNX Agency within Condé Nast, where they formulated and implemented short- and long-term strategies for the agency's growth. Sergent was responsible for developing and executing digital and social campaigns and consulting engagements for fashion, luxury, travel, and health clients. Doak also initiated business development strategies that resulted in a 50% annual revenue growth. From 2019 to 2022, Sergent worked at OK/D Consulting as a Principal, contributing their expertise in brand strategy. In 2019, they also joined IPSY as the Director of Brand Partner Strategy and was promoted to Senior Director in July 2021. In December 2021, they became the VP of Brand Partner Strategy. In 2022, Sergent joined BFA Industries as the VP of Brand Partner Strategy.

Doak Sergent earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Commerce from Washington and Lee University, completing their education from 1992 to 1996.
