Joseph Weld

Cyber Security Analyst

Joseph Weld has extensive experience in both military and cybersecurity roles, beginning as a Military Officer in the U.S. Army from June 1995 to July 1999, where responsibilities included managing a 200-person maintenance unit and overseeing a repair parts warehouse. Following military service, Joseph transitioned to civilian roles, serving at Northrop Grumman as a Cyber Security Incident Responder and Project Manager, and later at Peraton as a Cyber Security Senior Incident Responder for the Marine Corps. Joseph also worked as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder at ASRC Federal, addressing various incidents for the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency. Currently, Joseph is a Cyber Security Analyst at IPTA, focusing on Air Force applications within the RMF process. Additional experience includes roles at IBM and Lenovo, concentrating on IT support, business transformation, and process improvements. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Appalachian State University.
