Jorge Michel

Jorge Michel is a seasoned mechanical automation leader and mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently at IPTE since May 2008, Jorge Michel focuses on developing manufacturing equipment and production lines, validating designs, and overseeing mechanical and electrical system integrations. Prior to this, Jorge Michel worked at Continental Automotive Guadalajara from November 1999 to May 2008 as a group leader in engineering, where responsibilities included coordinating teams of engineers and managing projects related to production equipment while ensuring adherence to quality standards during new product launches. Jorge Michel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Guadalajara, obtained in 1999.
