Brian Newton has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and software industries. Brian began their career as Vice-President of Operational Affairs at the Minnesota Community College Student Association, where they facilitated operations and coordinated logistics for meetings. Brian then worked at Bell Atlantic as a Technical Support Specialist, providing real-time technical assistance and training to support staff. Brian later joined CyberOptics as a Software Test Engineer, testing build and calibration software for optical sensors.

In 1996, Brian joined RedPrairie as a Team Leader in Support and IT, eventually working their way up to Director of Support Services. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the Americas Support Services operation and directed budgeting, staffing, and process improvement initiatives. Brian also served as Director of Implementation Services and Senior Manager of Technical Services during their time at RedPrairie.

Since 2013, Brian has been with Iptor Supply Chain Systems, where they have held various positions. Brian started as an Account Executive, managing global cloud and customer support services. Brian then became a Project Manager for Dynaman WMS, overseeing projects related to warehouse management systems. Currently, they serve as Vice President of Operations, responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the company.

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. Brian has a track record of effectively managing teams and improving operational efficiency.

Brian Newton obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in History and Sociology from North Hennepin Community College, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Prior to that, they earned a Broadcasting Certificate in Broadcast Journalism and Electronics Repair from NEC Brown Institute, attending from 1987 to 1988.
