Daniel Mathew's work experience begins in 1989 when they served as a Trainee Officer in the British Army until 1992. Daniel then joined Weathernews Inc. in 1992 and held various roles, including Oceanographer from 1992-1997, Meteorologist from 1997-2002, and Business Development Director for the MENA/APAC regions from 2002-2004. In 2004, they founded Met Consultancy, a metocean technology company that experienced exponential revenue growth and was successfully sold to Reiten & Co in 2011. From 2011-2014, Mathew served as Managing Director for the MENA region, Vice President, and Board Member of StormGeo, where they successfully managed the post-acquisition transformation and led commercial teams to achieve significant market share growth. Daniel then joined Uberall in 2017 as Senior Vice President, where they helped businesses capitalize on the growing trend of "Near Me" searches. Most recently, Mathew has been working at IPV since 2019, holding the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), where they focus on video asset management and utilizes AI technology to streamline and automate video content supply chains.

Daniel Mathew began their education in 1989 at the University of Plymouth, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Oceanography. Daniel studied there until 1992. Following this, they attended The University of Edinburgh from 1992 to 1994 to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology. Currently, they are enrolled in the NEDonBoard NED Accelerator Program, specializing in Corporate Governance, which they started in 2022.
