Tim Campbell has a diverse range of work experience. Tim started their career in 1996 as an Account Executive and Database Manager at The Blue Water Agency Ltd. From 1999 to 2000, Tim worked as a Web Support at Anglia Ruskin University, where they redesigned and provided support for the university's website. Tim then worked as a Technical Support Engineer at WorldPay Ltd from 2000 to 2004, providing telephone and email support to customers and proposing and completing a project to improve the CRM system. In 2000, Tim also became a Director at Air-cooled Network Ltd, where they ran an import business shipping classic VWs to the UK and managed relationships with suppliers and customers. From 2006 to 2008, Tim was the Owner/Operator of Cambridge River Tours. In 2007, they started working as a Freelance Web Design and IT Engineer, building and optimizing websites for small businesses. In 2009, Tim joined IPV as a Technical Support Engineer, providing support to customers in the broadcast industry and investigating new technologies. Tim later became a Contract Project Engineer at IPV, working on various projects, including the TFO proxy editing solution and the Shopping Channel HD project. In 2013, Tim became the Director of GRANTA NETWORK SOLUTIONS LTD, and in 2020, they joined IPV Curator as a Senior Workflow Engineer.

Tim Campbell attended Anglia Ruskin University from 1996 to 1999. Tim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Computer Science.
