In 1997, Mark worked at Cadence as a Hardware Designer, where they designed digital hardware for projects related to PBXs and test equipment. These projects included a 24-line voice and data multiplexer PBX and a fault detector for a high-reliability memory system.

Finally, Mark started their career at Bell Northern Research in 1993 as a Member of Scientific Staff, where they contributed to various scientific projects.

Mark Senyshyn completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Carleton University between the years 1989 and 1993.
