David Rideout

David Rideout is an Associate Research Scientist at the University of California, San Diego since January 2011. Prior to this role, David held several postdoctoral positions, including Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute for Quantum Computing and at Perimeter Institute from 2007 to 2010. David was also a Marie Curie Fellow at Imperial College London from 2005 to 2007 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hamilton College from 2003 to 2005. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Programmer at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics from 2001 to 2003, focusing on the design, development, and support of Cactus. David holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
