Gemma Dusting

Gemma Dusting has a diverse work experience in finance and business planning. Gemma is currently serving as the Head of Finance - Growth & Capital at iQ Student Accommodation since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Business Planning at the same company from November 2021 to July 2023. Before joining iQ Student Accommodation, Gemma worked as the Head of FP&A at Retirement Villages Group Ltd from October 2020 to November 2021. Gemma also has extensive experience at intu, where they held roles such as Commercial Finance Manager and Finance Manager, responsible for financial modeling, reporting, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting across the intu portfolio of shopping centers in the UK and Spain. Gemma began their career as an Undergraduate Accountant at Baumgartner Partners while completing their university degree and later worked as a Manager in Business Advisory at William Buck.

Gemma Dusting attended Deakin University from 2005 to 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Gemma later attended Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2008 to 2010, but did not earn a specific degree or field of study.
