Eric Wadsworth

Eric Wadsworth has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Eric began their career in 1985 as a Cost Accountant at Anglo American. Eric then worked at Price Waterhouse as an Articled Clerk and Audit Manager, where they specialized in auditing and financial management. Eric joined Boake & Smith - Audit Firm as a Partner, leading the launch of a new technology consulting business. Wadsworth later served as the Chief Financial Officer at Aegis Insurance Limited, overseeing business and financial strategy as well as developing policies and systems.

In 1997, they became the Managing Director of Corporate Warranty Administrators (Pty) Ltd after leading a successful management buy-out. During their tenure, the company achieved remarkable growth and was recognized as one of South Africa's Top 300 companies. Wadsworth then became the CEO of eQuals Group (Pty) Ltd, leading the integration and transition of the company after it was acquired by Innovation Group. Under their leadership, the company experienced significant revenue growth and secured contracts with international companies such as Toyota, Ford, Sony, and Jaguar.

Wadsworth joined Innovation Group in 2004 as the Chief Operating Officer, where they successfully consolidated various business units and established the company as a global leader in its market segment. Eric later served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Americas division, leading the company through the 2009 economic downturn and implementing cost containment measures. Despite the challenging market conditions, they achieved growth through the introduction of new offerings and major restructuring initiatives that improved services and cross-sales potential.

In 2010, Wadsworth became the Chairman and CEO of IQBG Inc, overseeing the overall direction and operations of the company. In 2016, they joined Mint Management Technologies as an Executive Board Member. Eric has also served as a Trustee at Read Educational Trust from 1991 to 2014. Wadsworth consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, driving growth, implementing strategic initiatives, and achieving positive results throughout their career.

Eric Wadsworth attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in the year 1987. Eric pursued a B.Compt Honns degree with a specialization in Finance. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1984, they studied at North-West University/Noordwes-Universiteit. During this time, they obtained two degrees, a B.Comm in Finance and a B.Comm in Accounting, both focusing on the field of Finance.
