Shane McDonald

Shane McDonald is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as Senior HSE Lead at IQE since October 2022, Shane manages health, safety, and environmental protocols for three sites in South Wales, successfully leading them to obtain certifications in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Prior to this role, Shane was the Environment, Health, and Safety Manager at AluK (GB) Ltd, and a Health and Safety Advisor at Dyson, providing comprehensive health and safety guidance throughout the research and development process. Shane began in the field as a Health and Safety Advisor at Bisley Office Furniture, initially focusing on writing standard operating procedures for complex manufacturing processes. Shane holds a Master's degree in Physics from Aberystwyth University.
