Mark Wassell

Mark Wassell is a Principal Consultant at IQGeo, specializing in geospatial software, particularly with the IQGeo and Smallworld platforms. They possess extensive industrial experience in JavaScript, Python, and PostGIS, as well as a deep familiarity with the Smallworld product suite, notably PNI and CST. Previously, Mark held various roles including Senior Consultant at Ubisense and Smallworld Support Consultant at GE Energy, where they also served as a Technical Manager leading teams across Asia-Pacific. Mark's academic background includes a PhD student status at the University of Cambridge, alongside an MPhil in Advanced Computer Science and a graduate diploma in Mathematics from the University of Melbourne, complemented by a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town.
