Juha Hassel

Juha Hassel began their work experience in 2008 at VTT, where they served as a Senior Scientist until April 2016. Juha then advanced to the position of Principal Scientist until August 2019. In September 2019, Hassel joined IQM Quantum Computers as a Team Leader in System Integration. After working in this role until December 2020, they were promoted to Head of Engineering and Development in January 2021, which is their current position.

Juha Hassel obtained their PhD in Engineering physics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan in 1999. Juha also holds a Doctor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the same institution, although the exact start and end years for this degree are not provided.
