Matthew Kiser

Matthew Kiser is a highly qualified professional in the field of quantum applications and finance. Currently serving as a Senior Quantum Applications Engineer at IQM Quantum Computers since July 2025, Matthew previously conducted research as a Doctoral Candidate at Volkswagen AG, focusing on the application of quantum computing to materials science, particularly in battery technology. Before entering the realm of quantum computing, Matthew accrued substantial experience in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, where roles included Investment Banking Associate and Analyst within the Leveraged Finance group. Educational credentials include a PhD in Physics from the Technical University of Munich, an MS in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London, and a BA in Mathematics with Honors from Washington and Lee University.
