James Mitchell is a seasoned reinsurance professional with over 20 years of industry experience, currently serving as the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) in Bermuda at IQUW. They previously held various roles, including Vice President at RenaissanceRe and Class Underwriter at Catlin, where they focused on delivering bespoke solutions that align risk with capital. James began their career as a Junior Broker at Aon and has also worked as a consultant at Guy Carpenter. With a degree in Product Design and Manufacture Engineering from Loughborough University, they are passionate about nurturing talent and delivering innovative solutions in the insurance industry.
