Thomas Steele has extensive experience as a General Counsel, holding leadership roles in various companies. Thomas currently serves as the General Counsel and Managing Director at IQ Ventures, where they focus on building and investing in cloud-based, artificial intelligence driven companies. Prior to this, Thomas worked as the General Counsel at MoneyLion, a digital bank known for its innovative financial products. Thomas also served as the General Counsel, Vice President, and Secretary at CURO Financial Technologies Corp, a diversified international financial technology company. Earlier in their career, Thomas worked as the General Counsel for General Financial Services, Inc. and Dunes Hotels & Casinos, acquiring and repositioning distressed properties and assets. Thomas began their legal career as an Associate Attorney at Lathrop & Gage LLP.
Thomas Steele has a JD degree from Creighton University with a focus on Business Law, Securities, and Contracts. Thomas also holds a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
