Diego Correa

Diego Correa, MD, MSc, PhD, is the Vice President and Global Head of the Cell & Gene Therapy Center of Excellence at IQVIA. With over 20 years of experience in basic and translational research, they specialize in Cell and Gene Therapy, adult Stem Cell Biology, Tissue Engineering, and Regenerative Medicine. Diego previously served as Interim Global Head and Sr. Director at IQVIA and held a position as Sr. Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University, where they led significant NIH-funded projects. They also contributed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Diego earned an MD from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, an MSc from Universidad de Los Andes, and a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Physiology from Yale University.
