Matthew Copeman

Matthew Copeman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in clinical project management and therapeutic science. Currently serving as Vice President and Global Therapeutic Head at IQVIA since July 2021, Matthew leads a team focused on gastroenterology, immunology, and women's health studies. Previously, Matthew held multiple senior roles at Quintiles, including Vice President of Therapeutic Science and Strategy, and was instrumental in developing strategies for successful project delivery. With a foundation in clinical research operations at Astra Pharmaceuticals and a strong educational background, including a PhD in Physiological Sciences from Newcastle University, Matthew brings a wealth of expertise in managing complex projects and teams within the pharmaceutical industry.
