Ali Athar

Ali Athar has a diverse work experience in sales engineering and solution engineering roles. Ali started their career at Nortel as a Graduate Sales Engineer and later became a Global Account Sales Engineer and Bid Manager. At Avaya, they worked as a Channel Systems Engineer, serving as a trusted advisor to the British Telecom sales team. At IR, they held multiple positions, including Head of Solutions Engineering Americas and Vice President of Sales Engineering, Testing & Service Providers - Americas. In these roles, they led high-performing teams, drove revenue growth, and prioritized customer satisfaction and innovation. Ali Athar has consistently achieved outstanding results and demonstrated strong leadership skills throughout their career.

Ali Athar completed their Executive MBA at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Beng(Hons) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from London Metropolitan University between 2003 and 2006.
