Sylvain Faure

Sylvain Faure has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Sylvain started their career at IBM as a Network/QoS engineer in 2005. Sylvain then worked at SCER as a Team Leader/Project Manager from 2005 to 2008. Afterwards, they joined Cisco as a System Engineer in the Unified Communications field for a brief period in 2008. Sylvain then worked at IP-Experts as a Consultant & Project Engineer in Unified Communications from 2008 to 2010. Following that, they joined Touchbase as a Solution Architect in Unified Communications & Collaboration from 2010 to 2011. Sylvain then moved to Logicalis as a National Enterprise Solution Architect specializing in UC&C, CC, and Video from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they also took a career break for international traveling, specifically hiking and climbing in South America. In 2014, they joined IR as a Senior Solutions Engineer for ANZ, Korea & Japan. Sylvain progressed within the company, holding roles such as Solutions Sales Specialist for APAC, Solution Engineering Lead for APAC, Japan, Middle East & Africa, and Head of Solutions Engineering for APAC & MEA. Sylvain is currently the VP of Sales Engineering for International (EMEA & APJC) at IR.

Sylvain Faure completed their education with a Master's degree in IT, Networks, and Telecommunications. Sylvain obtained this degree from ESIGETEL between 2006 and 2008, with a specialization in Network and Systems Administration. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée from 2005 to 2006. Sylvain also holds an Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications and Networks from Université Côte d'Azur, which they attained between 2003 and 2005. Additionally, they have various certifications in areas such as Solution Sales, Everything as a Service (XaaS), Selling to Executives, and multiple Cisco certifications including CCIE Collaboration (written), CCNP Collaboration, CCDA, CCNA Voice, CCNA, CXFF, and DMPS. Sylvain also has a certification as a ShoreTel Certified Installer for implementing the ShoreTel IP System.
