Adam Wilkinson

Adam Wilkinson has diverse work experience in various roles. Adam currently works as a Software Developer at Irdeto since June 2021, where they are involved in multiple projects for the Embedded Security team. Their responsibilities include designing and developing features for embedded applications in C and creating automation scripts in Python for development and testing automation.

Prior to that, from May 2019 to June 2020, Adam served as a Machine Learning Researcher & Security Analyst at Irdeto. Adam led a research project using AI and Machine Learning for Binary Similarity Detection, where they created labelled datasets, conducted data analysis, and applied NLP techniques.

Adam also has experience as the Director of Design and AI Project Manager at QMIND from January 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they led a team of students working on machine learning and data science projects with external partners.

Additionally, Adam worked as a Software Developer at Irdeto in October to December 2018, focusing on developing profiles for scraping piracy sites. Adam also worked as a Junior Software Developer at Irdeto from May to August 2018.

Before their roles in the technology industry, Adam gained experience as a Tutor at Tri-Colour Tutoring from October 2017 to May 2018. Adam also worked as a Summer Camp Head Counsellor at RA Centre Ottawa from June to August 2016, where they planned and led programs for children.

Adam began their career as a Grocery Department Worker at Farm Boy Inc. in February 2015 and interned as a Reservations Agent at Westin Hotels & Resorts from February to May 2014.

Adam Wilkinson attended Queen's University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Mathematics and Engineering with a focus on Computing and Communications.
